His talents earned him an athletic scholarship to play baseball at the University of Georgia, where he also pursued his B.S. in Pre-Dentistry. In 1982, he was named the University of Georgia’s top male scholar-athlete, achieving the highest GPA among his peers. It is a clear indication of his dedication and discipline.
Following his undergraduate studies, Dr Matt Walton attended the Medical College of Georgia and earned his D.M.D. degree. He graduated among the Top 5 in his class. Determined to pursue specialization, he then completed an orthodontic residency at the Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University. It is one of the most prestigious programs in the nation.
