The FDA-approved, medical-grade material used to make the aligners is manufactured specifically to fit your teeth like a surgical glove. The rate, order, and direction of the motions are decided by your doctor, who also gives the teeth movement instructions. You will change to the next aligner in the series, which will fit your teeth slightly differently than your previous aligner, every two weeks on average. This will keep the process of improving alignment gradually moving forward.
The normal wearing time for Invisalign is 22 hours per day, with two hours allotted for eating, brushing, and flossing. INVISALIGN TEEN – Unlimited amount of prescribed aligners, as well as up to six free replacement liners should you lose some.
INVISALIGN EXPRESS – Used for a limited treatment requiring 10 aligners or fewer and a lower cost (few patients qualify). Beware of certain unethical dentists who promote inexpensive Invisalign rates using this product in order to lure patients into more expensive operations.
INVISALIGN EXPRESS 5 – If you just need five aligners or less for your treatment, you’ll pay even less (few patients qualify).
INVISALIGN ASSIST – An alternative for less skilled practitioners who require assistance from Invisalign specialists in treatment planning for straightforward misalignment patients. Only for the cosmetic realignment of the front teeth, with a maximum of 14 aligners.
